Implementasi Sistem File Sharing Menggunakan Samba Server dan OpenWrt pada Raspberry Pi 4 di Lingkungan DPMPTSP

The advancement of information technology demands efficient and secure file sharing systems in office environments. At the Investment and Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) of Tegal Regency, data exchange still relies on conventional methods such as WhatsApp, Google Drive, and external hard drives, which lead to data security risks and limited access. This research aims to address these issues by implementing a file sharing system using Samba Server and OpenWRT on Raspberry Pi 4 in the DPMPTSP environment. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a Waterfall system development approach. The research process includes system design, data and material collection, network design, file server development, file server configuration, and testing. Analysis is conducted on system performance, data speed, and usage efficiency. The results show that the implementation of the file sharing system using Samba Server and OpenWRT on Raspberry Pi 4 successfully improves data exchange efficiency and optimizes resource utilization in the DPMPTSP environment. The system also demonstrates stable and reliable performance in managing file sharing between departments and employees. This research provides a practical and economical solution to enhance productivity and data speed in government work environments.
