Aplikasi Kasir pada Koperasi PT Aster Jaya Mandiri Menggunakan Framework Laravel

Abstract

Anugerah Cooperative is a cooperative that provides various types of food and snacks. Currently, the service at the Anugerah Cooperative is still simple: customers buy goods, pay the cashier, then the cashier does the calculations with a calculator and records them in a report book. However, the cooperative plans to develop a computerized system to simplify the operations of the Anugerah Cooperative. This research aims to develop a web-based cashier application using PHP and the Laravel Framework to overcome this problem. The research methods used include literature study, user needs analysis, system design, program code implementation, and testing and evaluation. The research results show that this application can make it easier for cashiers to record sales transactions and make reports more quickly, precisely and efficiently. Apart from that, this application also allows real-time stock management, reduces the risk of recording errors, and provides easy access for cooperative administrators to monitor financial performance. With this new system, cooperative business processes can run more smoothly, reduce the manual workload of cashiers, and increase customer satisfaction through faster and more accurate service. Overall, this research shows the importance of applying technology in improving the competitiveness and operational performance of cooperatives in the digital era.
