The Tegal Baja Polytechnic Workshop is a place for automotive engineering students to carry out practical work, one of which is motorbike servicing practice. In this activity, students have to adjust their posture to the position of the motorbike, so students often feel discomfort. Under certain conditions, this imposing attitude has the potential to cause pain in several parts of the body. In the preliminary study, a questionnaire was used to identify more specific problems in body parts and to determine the risk level of work postures. This preliminary study shows that students have many complaints about their body parts. When compared with official motorbike repair shops, the conditions of motorbike service work at the Tegal Baja Polytechnic repair shop are very different. Official motorbike workshops already have work standards, including the use of adjustable tools in the form of a Motorcycle Lift, which functions to position the motorbike when being serviced. This tool can make motorbike servicing work easier. The aim of this research is to design a Motorcycle Lift which is equipped with several features to accommodate the needs and conditions of the Tegal Baja Polytechnic workshop. The first step of this research is to develop expectations for the motorcycle lift feature, then this information is poured into a concept design. Furthermore, this concept is realized in a more specific design by considering mechanical anthropometric dimensions. Making product prototypes and calculating production costs was carried out to carry out feasibility analysis in this research. The result of this research is a portable Motorcycle Lift, with a hydraulic jack as a driver. This tool is also equipped with a wheel clamp. Based on identification, mechanical work posture has improved from a high risk level to a low risk level. This design also shows production costs that are in accordance with the financial condition of the Tegal Steel Polytechnic workshop.
